Live-In ROTA Nanny

A happy and loving family in Franklin is seeking a collaborative, communicative, and flexible FULL-TIME Rotational Nanny for their two children (B6 & G3). Primary focused care will be for G3 but the family needs someone that can care for both, if/when needed.

The parents are eager to build a team of trusted caregivers who can be an extension of their family and support the development of their children. Both parents will be in and out of the house regularly, so someone comfortable collaborating daily and has a team-like mentality will be key, along with other household staff as they employ a house manager, chef and housekeepers.

The family is still exploring different parenting styles but it’s important that their nanny aligns with conscious parenting methods, as they place a high value on communication and connection within their family. They believe in reinforcing clear boundaries, communicating expectations, and allowing natural consequences. Their home is a haven full of love, kindness, and happiness and someone that exudes those attributes will be a natural fit.

This is a child-focused role, and all responsibilities will be child-related. Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child(ren) to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to light meal and snack prep, tidying after play and meals, child related food and household stocking, and wardrobe rotation.

Schedule: Full-time live-in rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. 24/7 on-call coverage will be expected during on weeks. Occasional travel is also required, as well as occasional rotational deviations as needed.

Nanny will live-in during their shift and must have their own place during their off weeks. The family is hopeful to work with a candidate who already resides in the Nashville area.

Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $95-105k/year dependent on the candidate's experience. Benefits: The family currently provides medical, dental, and vision benefits at no cost to the employee.

Their ideal nanny:

  • can take initiative anticipating the family's needs, staying a couple of steps ahead
  • is flexible, adaptable, and can go with the flow
  • can give a long-term commitment
  • is well versed in development milestones, and can incorporate age appropriate learning into daily activities.
  • has previous experience in a similar role (live-in and/or ROTA position)
  • is innately skilled at knowing when to step in and step out and using professional discretion
  • must be willing to sign an NDA
  • has at least 3 stellar professional childcare references
  • Start: As soon as we find the right fit

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
