Build a Breakout Media Platform from the Ground Up

Overview

Justin and Travis Maderia are fourth-generation lobster fishermen and entrepreneurs (co-founders of Lobsterboys) building a next-generation media platform rooted in real life, discipline, and truth.

This is not a typical content role. We are building a platform at the intersection of:

• Entrepreneurship — building real businesses from the ground up
• Health & Wellness — discipline, performance, and clean food
• Truth & Transparency in the Food System — exposing how the system actually works

The goal is to build a must-watch, must-follow platform that earns attention, builds trust, and scales into a major media presence. We are looking for a builder—someone experienced who knows what it takes.

What You Will Lead/Own:1. The Blueprint: Architect the full content strategy across:YouTube (long-form + clips), Live streaming (Twitch/Kick/YouTube Live) and Short-form (IG, TikTok, Shorts) as well as XDefine formats, series, and content systems that are repeatable and scalable2. The Content: Shape content that stops the scroll immediately, holds attention and drives subscribers—not just views. Translate real-world experience, such as building businesses or life on the water, into compelling narratives., clean food and performance, and exposing broken systems3. The Growth Engine: Drive organic audience growth from early-stage to scale. Build an audience that consistently returns.4. Execution & Team. Work directly with Justin and Travis on, content direction, filming structure (studio, field, live). Build the team: define workflows, set production standards and align videographers, editors, and distribution5. Platform Mastery

You understand—deeply—how platforms actually grow:

• YouTube: retention, thumbnails, titles, pacing
• Live (Twitch/Kick): engagement, community, real-time content
• Short-form: hooks, velocity, shareability
• X strategy and planning

What We’re Looking For

A proven builder who has personally taken a creator from <10K to 100K+ subscribers and followers within ~12 months or less. Growth must be organic and not driven by paid ads or vanity tactics.

Compensation

Base: $100,000+ annually

Update to include X
Once the platform monetizes 10% of Sales from the content platform

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
