Living Skills Instructor

Job Description: As a Skills Instructor you will be assisting clients with employment and essential living skills. You will have the opportunity to work with participants and seek opportunities to teach, train, and encourage independence for performing living skills, while offering supervision to participants. Skills Instructors are expected to adhere with all safety standards, regulations and policies.

Our Dimensions Program is designed to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to become active members of their community. Individuals learn independence and work-related skills through regularly scheduled volunteer work, community projects and other educational programs. Villa’s program is designed to help each person reach their greatest potential in all areas of their life and to be successful in their community.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (35 hours/week)

Compensation: $18.04/hour

Requirements:

• High school or GED Diploma
• Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year.
• Satisfactorily complete a fingerprinting clearance, physical & TB screenings.
