Job Title: LMS Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced LMS Specialist to manage and support the day-to-day operations of our Learning Management System (LMS). This remote role combines LMS administration, technical support, reporting, and eLearning content management to ensure effective training delivery across the organization. Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is highly preferred.

The LMS Specialist will work closely with HR, L&D, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless, user-friendly learning experience that supports onboarding, compliance, and continuous development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the LMS, including user accounts, access control, and system configuration
  • Upload, organize, and maintain eLearning content (SCORM/xAPI compliant)
  • Assign courses, manage enrollments, learning paths, and certifications
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot LMS-related issues for users
  • Monitor training completion, compliance status, and certification renewals
  • Generate and maintain LMS reports, dashboards, and analytics for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with IT and vendors on LMS integrations, updates, and system maintenance
  • Maintain LMS documentation, SOPs, and user guides
  • Support trainers and SMEs with content upload, testing, and LMS best practices
  • Assist with instructional design and content development using authoring tools when needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or LMS Specialist
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI)
  • Familiarity with reporting, analytics, and compliance tracking
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Rise) is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment
