Load Planner I -10hr

Position Summary

The position is responsible for managing loads and route planning for customer orders.

Essential Functions

• Build loads and determine most effective route; dispatch drivers
• Take customer orders; provide customer service
• Determine effective asset and driver utilization
• Communicate with drivers and resolve and safety related concerns
• Travel to customer sites; maintain and build customer relationships
• Manage driver workloads

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Transportation and supervisory experience preferred
