  • Collaborate closely with installation crews to support project timelines and troubleshoot issues in the field.
  • Perform on-site repair and maintenance welding to keep equipment and structures in top condition.
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members on welding techniques and field safety.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a welder in a commercial, industrial, or construction setting.
  • Proficiency in stick/arc welding; structural steel experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Comfortable working primarily in the field across multiple job sites.
  • Reliable transportation to access job sites throughout the region.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a consistent track record of reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied physical positions and conditions.

Skills Needed

  • Stick/arc welding (required); MIG, flux-core, or TIG welding (a plus).
  • Structural steel fabrication and field welding.
  • Repair and maintenance welding in field conditions.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, skid steers, or forklifts (a plus).
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage.

Work Schedule
