The ideal candidate for the Loan Control Analyst will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Be responsible for interpreting and reviewing loans to determine compliance with company credit policy and lending standard operating procedures.

Review loan for quality and identify error in policy and procedures.

Make recommendations for corrections and remediation of loan errors under either bank or lending standards based on reviews.

Review and screen loan files for compliance issues.
-
Prepare and analyze loan packages with respect to program guidelines and perform applicable due diligence to assure compliance.

Recommend procedures to maintain quality control aspects of lending practices.
-
Monitor and follow up on collateral documentation.
-
Review files subject to audits and remediate exceptions prior to audits.
-
Track and maintain audit exception reports.
-
Perform post-closing audit and review of loan files to assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Train lending staff as needed on processes and procedures to ensure compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field and 4+ years of experience with lending, familiarity with credit/compliance policies and procedures, loan analysis or other directly related experience.

Banking or Finance experience a plus.

Extensive knowledge of lending, loan documentation, credit policies, lending regulations, requirements and audit/review procedures.

Must have strong analysis, problem solving and auditing skills.

Requires strong attention to detail.

Ability to work with lending staff to resolve review issues.

Strong customer relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Solid working knowledge of PC software to include Microsoft Office or similar software.
