Overview

In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our lending operations, ensuring all loan applications are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with industry regulations. Duties
- Review and verify loan documentation, including income, employment, credit reports, and property details to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate smooth loan origination processes.
- Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, ensuring adherence to FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines and other investor requirements.
- Conduct credit analysis by assessing borrower financials, debt-to-income ratios, and escrow accounts to determine loan eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and other federal or state lending laws throughout the processing cycle.
- Manage mortgage servicing tasks such as escrow analysis, payoff processing, and document tracking to support ongoing loan management.
- Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities using secure systems, including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines and mortgage underwriting standards.
- Experience with loan origination processes within financial services or banking environments.
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing procedures, escrow management, and credit analysis techniques.
- Understanding of TILA regulations and contractual obligations related to loans.
- Proficiency in basic math skills necessary for calculations involving interest rates, payments, and escrow accounts.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
