Local and Regional Commercial Driver's License Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . In this role, you will be the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight from Las Cruces, NM to Albuquerque, NM daily. Your expertise in truck driving and familiarity with different trailer types will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks with automatic transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dry vans, and belly dumps
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Execute route driving assignments accurately, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across designated areas
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving
• Proficiency in operating automatic transmission trucks
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while following safety procedures
• Strong navigation skills with the ability to plan optimal routes for timely deliveries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.48 - $0.63 per mile
