Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and take pride in hauling waste and recycling safely and efficiently within your local area. Primarily drop and hook with some live load and live unload.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify truck condition, including brakes, lights, tires, and safety equipment
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, pickups, or any route adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating commercial trucks with manual transmissions in a local setting
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Strong knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
