Network & Links: The “Local Operation Project Analyst” will work intensively with the regional teams within Local Operations as well as with the Partner delivering onsite IT support services, and as well as the central IS&T teams managing Service NOW and other central services. The role will be a strategic position within the Local Ops organization reporting to the Local Ops Manager and the Partner delivering IT support services.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Project Analyst to support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across IT Operations. The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of experience in IT project coordination, stakeholder management, and process improvement, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies and tools.

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Track project progress, timelines, and budgets using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Analyze project data and generate reports to support decision-making and performance tracking
  • Identify risks and issues, and assist in developing mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Support change management and communication plans for project rollouts
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT Operations, ServiceNow development team and other Business Units
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and governance frameworks

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology
  • ITIL certification(s) will be an advantage

  • Fluent in English, the candidate should be able to work with autonomy in a multi-cultural environment and ready to face the challenges that Alstom has to offer.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

  • Should have at least 4 years of experience in IT, preferably in areas like on-site support or service desk
  • Hands-on experience with end-user related technologies / domains is an added advantage and preferred
  • Should have good communication, strong general management and inter-personal skills
  • Demonstrates strong overall understanding of mainstream IT systems, planification, hardware, software and practices in order to effectively implement and support IT and End User Community.
  • Should have sound understanding and relevant experience in managing ITIL processes and framework
