Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Local SEO Account Coordinator to oversee and optimize local business listings for a designated region. This role supports our client’s brick-and-mortar businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of relationship management, technical acumen, and operational excellence to drive visibility, consistency, and growth for our clients' local search presence.

Organizational Relationships: The Local SEO Account Coordinator will work closely with the Local Search, SEO, and Content teams. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and client-facing teams is essential to deliver seamless and impactful local listing management and search optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize local business listings across Google Business Profiles, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and other key directories for a specific regional portfolio of home service clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure listing information (name, address, phone number, hours, etc.) is accurate, consistent, and updated in real-time.
  • Monitor and improve local search visibility, rankings, and overall search performance metrics through strategic updates and enhancements.
  • Audit and resolve listing discrepancies and duplicate listings to ensure brand consistency and search accuracy.
  • Leverage Local SEO best practices to increase visibility for home service locations within Google’s Local Pack and other map-based search results.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including visibility, search rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics, while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor for local listing strategy and execution.
  • Stay current on industry trends and platform updates for Google Business Profiles, Apple Maps, and emerging search engines or directories.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Local Search, Local SEO, or multi-location business listing management.
  • Technical proficiency with platforms like Google Business Profiles, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and BrightLocal or Yext.
  • Familiarity with local listing auditing tools and the ability to resolve NAP (Name, Address, Phone) inconsistencies.
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and schema markup for local search.
  • Client relationship management experience, with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and clients.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client accounts.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools like Airtable, Discord/Slack/Teams, Monday.com, and Google Workspace.
