Local SEO Expert

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Local SEO Expert to improve our online visibility across local search platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing Google Business Profiles, managing local citations, improving local rankings, and driving high-quality local traffic to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and manage Google Business Profile (GMB/GBP) listings
• Improve local search rankings through on-page and off-page SEO strategies
• Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis
• Build and manage local citations across directories (Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps, etc.)
• Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across platforms
• Manage and respond to online reviews to improve reputation and trust
• Optimize website content for local search intent
• Track performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and local SEO tools (BrightLocal, Moz, etc.)
• Provide monthly reports on rankings, traffic, and conversions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Local SEO Specialist or similar role
• Strong understanding of local search ranking factors
• Hands-on experience with Google Business Profile optimization
• Knowledge of citation building and local link-building strategies
• Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, BrightLocal, etc.)
• Basic understanding of website SEO (HTML, CMS like WordPress preferred)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with UK or USA based clients is a plus point
• Experience in Local SEO for restaurants or hospitality businesses is a plus
• Knowledge of reputation management strategies
• Certification in SEO or digital marketing is a plus
