Local SEO & Google Maps Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Local SEO & Google Maps Specialist who can improve local search visibility for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Google My Business (GMB), Apple Maps, and local SEO strategies. You will be responsible for managing listings, improving rankings, and ensuring consistent business information across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Local SEO Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to improve local rankings on Google Maps and Apple Maps.

Google My Business (GMB) Management:
Create, verify and manage GMB organization accounts.
Handle reinstatement of suspended or removed listings.
Regularly post updates and content to improve engagement and visibility.

Apple Maps Management:
Create, claim, and optimize Apple Maps listings.
Ensure listings are accurate and fully optimized for search visibility.

Business Citations:
Create and manage citations across multiple platforms.
Maintain consistency and accuracy across all listings.

Data Management (NAP Consistency):
Ensure Name, Address, and Phone number consistency across all directories and listings.

Performance Monitoring:
Track rankings, traffic, and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
Make data driven improvements to campaigns.

Trend Monitoring:
Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in local SEO.

Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with team members and management.
Assist in training junior staff and documenting processes.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Local SEO, specifically with Google My Business.
Proven experience in managing and reinstating GMB listings.
Hands on experience with Apple Maps listings.
Strong understanding of local SEO ranking factors and NAP consistency.
Experience with citation building and management.
Good English writing skills for content posting.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
