Local SEO & Social Media Coordinator (In-Person)Overview

We’re hiring a detail-oriented, proactive Local SEO & Social Media Coordinator to support our online visibility and customer engagement. This role focuses on Google My Maps/citation work, local SEO support, and day-to-day social media operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesGoogle My Maps & Local SEO

• Build and maintain Google My Maps citation maps (create, organize, update locations).
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across listings (Name/Address/Phone/Website, etc.).
• Optimize map entries for local SEO value (clean naming, formatting, consistent data).
• Assist with Google Business Profile (GBP/GMB) updates as needed (hours, services, photos, posts).

Social Media Management

• Schedule and publish posts across company social channels.
• Create basic content (updates, announcements, promotions, service highlights) using approved branding.
• Monitor and track reviews, comments, and engagement.
• Respond or escalate reviews/comments/messages when appropriate.

Account Setup & Profile Maintenance

• Set up and maintain service-related accounts as assigned.
• Create and manage social media profiles across relevant platforms.
• Maintain consistent branding and business info across all accounts and channels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and Google My Maps.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.).
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written communication and good judgment when engaging with customers online.
