Local SEO Specialist

We are seeking a proactive Local SEO Specialist to own and enhance our local online presence. You will be the driving force behind our visibility in local search results, directly impacting lead generation and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize multiple Google Business Profiles (GBPs), including posts, photos, and offers.
• Conduct local keyword research to identify valuable search terms used by the target audience.
• Build, audit, and maintain accurate local citations across online directories.
• Ensure consistent business Name, Address, and Phone Number (NAP) across all platforms.
• Monitor, respond to, and analyze online reviews to manage brand reputation.
• Handle Google Business Profile suspensions and lead the appeal process for reinstatement.
• Track, analyze, and report on local SEO performance using analytics tools.
• Collaborate with the content team to create locally-optimized landing pages and blog content.
• Implement local SEO techniques, such as geo-tagging images, to enhance visibility.
• Stay updated on the latest local search trends and algorithm changes. Requirements:
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a strong preference for Local SEO.
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing multiple Google Business Profiles (GBP).
• Proficiency with Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
• Practical experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO principles.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented approach, especially regarding NAP consistency.
• A proactive learner who stays updated on the latest SEO and digital marketing trends.
• Experience with geo-tagging images is a plus.
