Overview:
Join the Locaria Academy Graduate Program in Cairo, Egypt, and kickstart your career. This six-month paid program is designed for motivated and ambitious graduates eager to gain hands-on experience, professional development, and a global perspective.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Trainee to join our Recruitment team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in recruitment and gain hands-on experience across the hiring lifecycle.
You will support the Recruitment Manager in attracting and hiring talent while ensuring an efficient process and a positive candidate experience. You will gradually take ownership of roles, managing stages of the recruitment process including sourcing, conducting initial screening calls, interview coordination, and candidate communication.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Process Support

  • Post job openings in the ATS (iCIMS) and ensure roles are accurately advertised across relevant platforms.
  • Maintain and update candidate information across internal trackers, LinkedIn, and the ATS.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support track recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Support identify relevant job boards and sourcing channels to improve visibility and attract diverse talent.

Candidate Sourcing & Screening

  • Support sourcing activities for open roles using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Identify and engage potential candidates through direct outreach and talent searches.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate fit and motivation.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Employer Branding & Recruitment Projects

  • Contribute ideas for content and support planning for employer branding activities.
  • Support recruitment-related improvement projects, such as candidate and hiring manager experience, referrals, optimizing the ATS
Required Skills:

The Office: New Cairo, Hybrid Model

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Advanced English level both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in recruitment and people-related processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, especially in English.

You will need to be available to join in June 2026 when the programme begins. This role will be working Monday to Friday - 10 AM to 7 PM local time.

This is a paid graduate programme offering $350 USD gross per month.

The selection process will involve two stages:

  • Stage One: A video submission interview where you’ll showcase your skills, motivations, and why you’re excited about joining Locaria Academy.
  • Stage Two: If successful, you’ll proceed to a final virtual interview, where you’ll meet some of our team managers. This may include an interview or an assessment center to evaluate your skills and fit for the programme.
