Lock Desk Analyst I

Remote Schedule: Monday - Friday, available 8- 6 pm PST

Position Summary

The Lock Desk Analyst I is an entry-level role designed to support the daily functions of the lock desk and gain foundational knowledge of mortgage pricing and loan locks. This role focuses on data entry, communication, and the accurate handling of lock requests, while learning the tools, systems, and policies governing the lock desk process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily processing of lock, re-lock, extension, and change requests
• Enter and verify pricing data within the loan origination system and pricing engine
• Monitor lock activity and ensure accurate data recording for audit and reporting purposes
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding lock confirmations and status updates
• Maintain detailed documentation and assist in maintaining operational logs
• Support special projects or lock audits as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
• 0–1 years of experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data entry processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn LOS and pricing engine systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
