To implement and coordinate a comprehensive Employee Health, Safety and Environmental System for the employees of Vallourec

Key Responsibilities

To handle logistics activities related to raw material of casing and tubing + strategic stock pipes.

Coordinate with manufacturing mills and arrange raw material shipment timely, validate shipping documents for smooth customs clearance at KSA ports and to avoid any demurrage charges.:

• Understand government requirements for material management of import and export process.
• Execute logistics plan to reach destinations on schedule date for timely production.
• Coordinate with manufacturing mills to organize transport activities of ordered pipes, manage information accrued from point of origin to delivery including validation of shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate and track movement of pipes through logistic pathways and update the same in the order follow-up file.
• Review the freight rates and optimize the shipment tonnage to lower the cost whenever possible.
• Maintain the pipes quality throughout the logistic processes.
• Develop forecasting plan to maintain regular update of pipes arrival at Dammam port and to VSA plant, issue summary of coming items on weekly basis.
• Establish priorities, track consignments, and ensure availability of pipes as per required plan.
• Comply with VSA plant working standards (department SOP)
• Coordinate with shipping agent/trucking company representative for timely receiving/dispatch of material to respective places including billets delivery to AMJ + Jesco.
• Maintain proper record of shipping paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipment for audit purpose.
• Work with manager and supply chain team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
• Coordinate with supply chain / internal stake holders to prepare set reports.

requirements:

• Necessary: University graduate
• 3-4 years’ experience in similar Job role. (Logistics)
• English Required
