A renowned company of Saudi Arabia is looking for Logistics Planner.
A Logistics Transport Planner's job involves coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and safe deliveries by analyzing routes, managing schedules, liaising with carriers and customers, and resolving issues. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in logistics software.

Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of drivers, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.

Route Optimization:
Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing costs and fuel consumption.

Compliance Oversight:
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Scheduling:
Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including pick-ups and deliveries, to meet customer demands.

Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and other departments regarding transportation issues, schedules, and updates.

Performance Monitoring:
Monitor driver performance and vehicle usage, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency and safety.

Reporting:
Prepare reports on transportation metrics, including delivery performance, costs, and compliance for management review.

Monitoring:
Good management of preventive maintenance schedules, MVPI, vehicle registration, insurance renewals, Gate passes, and stickers required for all active affiliates' access. Settlement of Traffic fines, monitoring of Driver’s license validity, etc.

Fleet Management:
Maintaining an accurate reporting system of all company vehicles, such as breakdowns, under repair, renewal of registration, under preventive maintenance, etc., thereby minimizing vehicle breakdowns and losses.

Planning & flexibility:
Able to manage and adapt to changes and has good planning skills, willing to attend to emergencies that the operations may require.

Visionary:
Able to think outside of the box, can provide new ideas on how to improve the existing transportation system and challenges of the company.

Training:
Train drivers and ensure that they are aware of the traffic rules and regulations, as well as road safety.

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management, with supervisory experience preferred.
