Job Title: Logistic Return Damage Executive

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager / Logistics Head

Job Purpose:

The Logistic Return Damage Executive will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and processing returned or damaged goods in the supply chain. The role ensures proper documentation, coordination with warehouses, vendors, and internal departments to minimize losses, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the return process for damaged, expired, or defective products from customers, distributors, or retail points.
• Inspect and verify returned goods against return documents and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for segregation, storage, and disposal of damaged products.
• Maintain accurate records of all returned/damaged goods and ensure timely updates in the ERP/system.
• Prepare reports on return trends, damages, and provide analysis for corrective actions.
• Liaise with sales, quality, and finance teams to resolve disputes related to returns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and FSSAI regulations in handling damaged products.
• Identify recurring issues in packaging, logistics, or handling and recommend improvements.
• Support audit processes by providing detailed return/damage data.
• Assist in cost control by minimizing return-related losses through effective monitoring and preventive measures.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Understanding of FMCG supply chain processes (preferably spices/food industry).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail with strong record-keeping skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Commerce or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or return management (preferably FMCG sector).
• Experience in handling damaged/returned goods will be an added advantage.

Compensation:

Monthly In Hand: up to 30k + PF
