Job Responsibilities:

This position will support Navy Accountable Property Program oversight efforts for Commander, Navy Region Southwest’s (CNRSW) Comptroller/Financial Management (N8) Department. Specific responsibilities involve data integrity verification; validation of accounting systems’ accuracy; oversight, database management, information resources, and facilities management functions; and assistance compliant with the Department of the Navy’s accounting procedures, Standard Accounting and Budget Reporting System (SABRS), Command Financial Management System (CFMS), property program, Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), and policies at Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) and CNRSW. Also, this position is responsible for providing new or refresher property management training and daily correspondence with Installation Accountable Property Officers, Personal Property Custodians, and Navy Region Southwest Command Property Officer. Position is located at CNRSW, San Diego, CA. Requisition #ESI 0184

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A BA/BS degree and a minimum of three (3) years of logistician/project analyst experience with similar DoD/DoW activities as listed within the position description above.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional four (4) years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.

· Extensive understanding of DoD Financial Management Regulations (DoD-FMR) and the Department of the Navy’s accounting and property program policies/regulations.

· Experience with ELMS and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).

· Must be a US citizen, possess a valid state driver's license, and hold an active DoW Secret-level security clearance.

· Salary range depending on skills/experience: $75K to $110K
