Logistics Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing proposals and making recommendations for modifications in internal distribution center processes. Further, is responsible for developing and implementing and monitoring, evaluation and improvement actions for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and adherence to documented PO and inbound receipt procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily review of inbound transportation analytic metrics and improvement tactics
• Regular review of transportation processes and recommendations for improvements
• Regular communication with carriers to meet expectations in delivery requirements
• Solve problems of limited scope, escalate as expected
• Conduct daily/weekly audits of third-party services, when necessary, as well as Internal ISO Audits
• Oversee the inventory control process along with inventory auditors.
• Responsible for overseeing Consumable Materials and Equipment
• SAP System Integration and Training
• This position includes administrative desk responsibilities as well as hands-on work in both the Shipping and Receiving Departments.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in logistics or business administration or similar
• 2+ years of related experience
• Working SAP or similar knowledge
