Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator Manager

Role Overview

A Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator manages the movement of goods, ensuring they are transported, stored, and delivered on time while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

 Dispatch & Routing

o Plan and schedule deliveries, pickups, and shipments.

o Assign drivers/vehicles and optimize routes for cost and time.

 Logistics Management

o Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics (raw materials and finished goods).

o Track shipments in real-time and resolve delays or disruptions.

 Communication

o Act as the link between suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, and customers.

o Coordinate with sales team and production team for order fulfilment.

 Documentation

o Prepare dispatch schedules, bills of lading, invoices, and delivery notes.

o Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.

 Monitoring & Reporting

o Maintain records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and delivery performance.

o Report on logistics KPIs like on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and turnaround time.

 Problem Solving

o Handle emergencies such as vehicle breakdowns, shipment delays, or route changes.

o Find quick solutions to minimize customer impact.

o Conduct inventory audits with PPC members.

Skills Required

 Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

 Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse management systems (WMS/TMS).

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Problem-solving and quick decision-making ability.

 Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or dispatch tracking software.

 Understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (sometimes a diploma with experience is sufficient).

 8–10 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or dispatch operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
