Position Overview

Sun Protection of Florida is the unrivaled leader in the realm of retractable awnings and motorized sunshades throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas. We’re proud to be a part of the Hunter Douglas family of brands. We are currently seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Logistics Lead to manage the daily operations of our logistics team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate scheduling, trailer coordination, inventory control, and seamless delivery execution. What you'll do

  • Lead warehouse logistics operations, including managing inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve shipment discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Oversee product returns and maintain delivery tracking systems.
  • Manage companywide fleet operations, including preventative maintenance, compliance, repairs, and GPS monitoring.
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety, registration, insurance, and DOT requirements.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Scheduling teams to adjust deliveries and support business needs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related concerns and support overall warehouse security.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
  • This role requires strong organizational skills, vendor management experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or fleet management.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of vehicle compliance and maintenance standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
