Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities across various categories, ensuring optimal supply chain operations, and supporting process improvements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organisational efficiency through strategic sourcing and effective supplier management. The ideal applicant will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse and logistics systems, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes. This paid position is suitable for individuals with prior warehouse experience or those looking to develop their career in procurement within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

⦁ Handle daily logistics operations, including material delivery and collection.

⦁ Manage cash and cheque collection from clients and ensure timely deposit.

⦁ Coordinate with suppliers for purchasing materials, quotations, and delivery follow-ups.

⦁ Ensure proper invoice submission and maintain accurate documentation.

⦁ Support operations and warehouse teams with material movement and system updates.

⦁ Maintain records in company systems/ERP and ensure all transactions are updated accurately.

⦁ Communicate effectively with internal departments for smooth operations.

⦁ Service Team Support- Provides support to the service team to facilitate drop-offs and pick ups

From the site.

⦁ Keep records for current suppliers.

⦁ Tracks records of goods ordered and received.

⦁ Prepares shipment paperwork for international deliveries.

⦁ Obtain quotes and arranges shipments with freight forwarders. Monitors shipments until

Delivery. Review freight invoices.

⦁ UAE Specific Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE labour, immigration laws, and other

Relevant regulations.

⦁ Technical skills: Familiarity with government portals and software which is being use for visa and license processing.

⦁ Interpersonal Skills: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with government

Contacts and internal stakeholders.

⦁ Resolve claims for damaged shipments.

Skills

  • Proven experience in category management, supply chain logistics, or procurement roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes through strategic initiatives and process optimisation techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. REQUIREMENTS

Valid UAE driving License- Mandatory (preferably with own car)

Minimum 2 years experience in Logistics, Purchasing and Operations in UAE

Must be available for immediate joining.

Work schedule is 6 days per week ( 1 regular day-off)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
