Logistics Assistant – Land Transportation (Heavy Truck & Trailer)

Cannata World Wide Cargo Services LLC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Assistant – Land Transportation to support daily fleet operations for heavy trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on UAE logistics experience, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage both internal and external transport resources efficiently for domestic and cross-border shipments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and schedule internal fleet (heavy trucks & trailers) based on shipment requirements.
• Ensure optimal fleet utilization for both domestic and cross-border transportation.
• Coordinate with internal and external drivers for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Maintain strong communication with drivers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Source and onboard external individual drivers and fleet vendors.
• Maintain and update a reliable database of external transport providers.
• Accurately input shipment details and driver assignments into the ERP system.
• Track and monitor shipment movements through system updates.
• Maintain updated records of external drivers, vendors, and fleet availability.
• Ensure documentation compliance for all transport operations.

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in logistics or land transportation.
• Proven experience handling heavy trucks and trailers operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE road transport and GCC cross-border procedures.
• Experience in ERP systems for logistics operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
