Job Summary

The Export Operations Specialist will oversee and manage daily export activities, ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-effective international shipments. The role requires close coordination with logistics partners, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily export operations, ensuring on-time and cost-efficient shipments.
• Coordinate logistics and collaborate with shipping lines and sales teams on shipment pricing.
• Handle customs procedures and oversee the preparation of all required export documentation.
• Monitor shipping schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and negotiate with shippers when delays occur.
• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and update the export compliance database and track global trade trends.
• Keep accurate records of shipments, including packing lists and manifests.
• Support weekend logistics operations as required.
• Provide excellent customer service with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and execution.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics, export, or a similar role within international trade.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid knowledge of international trade regulations and customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping operations and export documentation standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with logistics and ERP systems is a plus.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to support weekend operations when necessary.
