Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the efficient flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. This role involves coordinating transportation, tracking shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Communicate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to schedule and track deliveries.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records in the system.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and import/export regulations.
• Resolve delivery or shipment issues promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor carrier performance and negotiate with vendors to improve service levels.
• Assist in warehouse coordination and stock management as required.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0 – 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation procedures.
