The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely dispatch of materials, coordination with logistics partners, and maintaining proper documentation. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth warehouse functioning.
Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
Ensure proper handling, stocking, and retrieval of inventory.
Monitor warehouse housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.
Track stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
Reconcile physical stock with system records and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare materials for dispatch as per the job order or client requirement.
Coordinate with transport vendors for timely pickup and delivery.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for shipments.
Maintain inward/outward registers, gate passes, GRNs, delivery challans, and other warehouse documents.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
Work closely with logistics, procurement, and operations teams.
Coordinate with field engineers or site teams for material requirements.
Communicate delays, issues, or discrepancies to management.
Follow company safety guidelines and ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs.
Ensure equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc., are used properly and maintained.
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Minimum: 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics coordination.
Strong understanding of warehouse procedures.
Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/WMS preferred).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle physical inventory movement if required.
Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Flexible to work extended hours when required.
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
