Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Dubai-based operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing logistics, supply chain, and transportation processes in the UK or European markets, with a strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs compliance, and end-to-end logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Manage imports and exports, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Analyze logistics data to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Support implementation of logistics systems and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare periodic reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics costs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of logistics coordination experience in the UK or Europe.
• Strong understanding of EU and UK transport regulations, Incoterms, and international trade documentation.
• Experience working with ERP or logistics management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus).
