Logistics Coordinator

Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE

Gulf Orchid Perfume Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team. The role is suitable for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the perfume, cosmetics, or FMCG industry. The position supports efficient logistics operations, accurate inventory control, and full compliance with company policies and UAE regulations through effective use of ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods using ERP systems.
• Execute and control goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and delivery transactions within the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and system tracking of perfumes, fragrance oils, alcohol-based materials, glass bottles, and other sensitive items.
• • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances with ERP inventory records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels through ERP reports and coordinate with Procurement for timely material replenishment.
• Manage returns, damaged goods, and non-conforming items within the ERP system in coordination with Warehouse and Quality teams.
• Liaise with Production, Sales, Procurement, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth operational flow and accurate system data.
• Coordinate customer delivery schedules and ensure on-time order fulfilment with complete system documentation.
• Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and ERP recording of hazardous or flammable materials in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Support compliance with UAE import/export procedures, customs regulations, and internal audit requirements, ensuring all logistics transactions are properly recorded in the ERP system.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems for inventory, logistics, and warehouse transactions.
• Experience in perfume, cosmetics, fragrance, or FMCG manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE import/export procedures and customs regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in Hindi (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Must be ready to join immediately (on visit visa or cancelled visa).
