Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless movement of freight and maintaining exceptional service standards for both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
• Manage the closing of bills of lading and ensure all necessary shipping documents are printed and prepared.
• Provide loading documentation to the warehouse team for efficient operations.
• Oversee export clearance processes and send pre-advises or J2J updates as required.
• Communicate effectively with the customer service team to address any discrepancies in freight documents or cargo receipt.
• Maintain timely updates of shipment milestones and notify customers of any exceptions or status changes.
• Support daily import/export operations by meeting customer-specific requirements.
• Ensure all files contain complete and properly sequenced documentation for accurate recordkeeping.
• Process payable and receivable documents accurately and within established deadlines.
• Trace shipments through transit points and provide status updates to the customer service team.
• Uphold high standards of data accuracy and integrity by processing shipments meticulously.
• Proficiency in logistics-related business systems, such as CargoWise, ERP solutions, and CRM platforms.
• Strong skills in billing functions and customs processes.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise with internal teams and external customers.
• Previous experience in customer service within the logistics industry.
• Familiarity with tracing shipments and managing freight documentation.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of export clearance procedures and milestone tracking.
