Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily freight operations, ensuring that loads are accurately tracked, appointments are seamlessly scheduled, and our system remains up-to-date. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is comfortable navigating multiple digital platforms simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Load Management: Accurately book, log, and update incoming and outgoing loads into our internal logistics software.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate, secure, and manage pickup and delivery appointments with shippers, receivers, and warehouses.
• Platform Navigation: Efficiently utilize various digital platforms, customer portals, and scheduling tools to secure appointment times.
• Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination: Place finalized loads onto the master transportation schedule and ensure all relevant parties are updated on routing timelines.
• Problem Solving: Monitor load statuses and proactively resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays to ensure on-time performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or freight dispatch is highly preferred.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with logistics/TMS software and comfortable learning new third-party scheduling portals quickly.
• Organization: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with drivers, customers, and facility managers.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy when entering data and managing tight schedules.
• Language: Bilingual (English / Spanish) is highly preferred / a strong plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.28 - $26.00 per hour
