<Duties>

• Coordinate and oversee air and sea freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations including FDA standards where applicable.
• Manage transportation planning by selecting optimal carriers, negotiating rates, and securing capacity through contracts with 3PL providers, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers), and other logistics partners.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), CRM software, and AS400 platforms to streamline data entry, dispatching, tracking, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management, inside sales efforts, and B2B sales strategies to generate new leads and expand existing accounts.
• Handle freight pricing negotiations, contract management, and carrier sales activities to maximize profitability while maintaining high service levels.
• Monitor shipment statuses proactively, coordinate dispatching activities, and resolve any issues related to freight delays or customs compliance promptly.
• Conduct detailed data analysis for supply chain optimization, prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on transportation management for air and sea freight operations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics sales including freight forwarding, carrier sales, and transportation planning.
• Familiarity with 3PL providers, NVOCC operations, FDA regulations related to shipping pharmaceuticals or food products.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), EDI platforms, CRM software (such as Odoo), and AS400 systems for efficient logistics execution.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in inside sales or logistics sales roles with a focus on lead generation and account development.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, dispatching coordination, and compliance documentation.
