Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks/tankers.
- Ensure every vehicle is weighed properly on the weighbridge (gross, tare, net).
- Record and verify weighment data accurately.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documents including:
- Gate entry / exit records
- Weighbridge slips
- Delivery challans
- Invoices / transport documents
- Maintain daily truck movement register.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, security, and transporters for smooth vehicle flow.
- Ensure loading/unloading happens safely and as per schedule.
- Track vehicle turnaround time and report delays.
- Maintain proper filing (physical & digital) of logistics records.
- Follow plant safety rules and ensure drivers comply with site procedures.
- Support basic inventory tracking of incoming and outgoing quantities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years experience in logistics / dispatch / plant coordination (chemical or manufacturing industry preferred).
- Experience handling weighbridge operations is a strong advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email, data entry).
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Comfortable working in an industrial / factory environment.
- Should be able to operate Tally
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in chemical, manufacturing, or bulk material logistics.
- Familiar with truck documentation and transporter coordination.
- Organized, responsible, and able to handle multiple vehicles daily.
- Should have sound knowledge in operating Tally
