Key Responsibilities
- Partner Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for all delivery partners (3PLs, local couriers, and freight forwarders).
- Dispatch Management: Schedule and monitor daily outgoing shipments to ensure alignment with delivery SLAs.
- Real-time Tracking: Monitor shipments in transit and proactively resolve delays, missed pickups, or "last-mile" delivery failures.
- Performance Monitoring: Track delivery partner performance metrics (on-time delivery rates, RTO percentages, and damage reports).
- Problem Solving: Handle escalated delivery queries from the Customer Support team and provide swift resolutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of manifests, proof of deliveries (PODs), and shipping invoices.
- Cost Optimization: Assist in auditing freight bills and ensuring delivery partners are adhering to agreed-upon rate cards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must. You must be able to negotiate with drivers and vendors while remaining professional under pressure.
- Experience: [1] year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (e-commerce experience is a plus).
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and Logistics Management Systems (LMS) or ERPs.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot discrepancies in manifests or shipping data quickly.
- Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple delivery windows and partner queries simultaneously.
