Logistics Coordinator Overnight

General Description

Our Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing our daily order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Coordinating the shipment of hazardous bulk goods or services from FSTI trans-load operations, third-party suppliers, or other intracompany locations
  • Assign and dispatch drivers, equipment, warehouse, and our supplier network best utilizing resources with emphasis on service performance and cost reduction strategies
  • Internal and external customer or stakeholder communication regarding delivery status and resolution to any deviation from requested delivery time, approval and verification of driver paperwork and / or computer entries
  • Knowledge of FSTI policies and procedures to educate and encourage with driver team
  • Timely reporting of any misconduct, incidents, accidents or damage to Safety and Human Resources leadership
  • Knowledge of FSTI operations and all types of equipment we operate
  • Our current opening is 6am-6pm Every other Wednesday, Sunday through Tuesday, additional shifts may be scheduled on occasion to accommodate time off needed by teammates. Please note FSTI operates 24/7 including weekends and holidays.

We offer a starting hourly pay rate range of $20.00 to $25.00per hour, commensurate with experience. Minimum Experience Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of comparable dispatch and / or logistics experience
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Prompt and dependable team player with a sense of urgency
  • Professional oral, written and electronic communication skills
  • Accurate and timely order entry
  • Knowledge of current state and federal hazmat transportation regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer support
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Windows-based programs computer OS, specifically MS (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.)
  • Holidays and weekends required (we operate 24/7 365)
  • Knowledge of Chempax and Fleet Manager not required but an added plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
