Logistics Coordinator Representative

General Transportation is growing and looking for a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator for immediate hire. We have a very competitive salary and commission structure based on experience level.

The Logistics Coordinator will primarily be responsible for utilizing our in-house TMS and matching General Transportations loads with available carriers. They will perform Load planning duties, schedule appointments when needed, and coordinate load assignments with different Carriers nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage daily freight shipments
• Dispatch and communicate with carriers
• Track and trace loads from pickup to delivery
• Provide status updates to customers and internal team
• Resolve delays, issues, and service concerns quickly
• Accurately enter and update load information in system
• Confirm pickups, deliveries, and required documentation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency
• Problem-solving mindset
