Logistics & Delivery Manager

About the Role:

The Logistics & Delivery Managerwill lead and oversee all logistics operations across Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient, scalable, and cost-effective execution across last-mile delivery, transportation, fleet management, supplier performance, and vending operations.

This role requires a commercially minded leader who can balance operational excellence with strategic planning, while building strong supplier partnerships and leading multi-city logistics teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Own:

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and maintain the KSA logistics strategy, translating Floward's commercial growth ambitions into a clear operational roadmap across all logistics streams.
• Build and own the annual logistics operating plan and budget, ensuring resource allocation reflects both current needs and future scalability.
• Identify structural inefficiencies across last-mile, mid-mile, employee transport, fleet, and vending operations and lead cross-functional initiatives to address root causes.
• Represent KSA logistics in regional and group-level forums, balancing alignment with group standards against KSA-specific commercial and operational realities.
• Maintain a forward-looking view of the logistics landscape — technology, regulation, market capacity — to proactively shape strategy before gaps become crises.

1. Commercial & Supplier Management

• Maintain full ownership of the KSA logistics supplier ecosystem, covering all provider categories including 3PLs, last-mile couriers, employee transport operators, workshop vendors, and vending replenishment partners.
• Lead end-to-end supplier lifecycle management: sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal — with a focus on building a consolidated, strategically managed supplier panel.
• Establish and run a structured supplier performance management process, including regular business reviews, scorecards, and formal escalation paths for underperformance.
• Drive commercial value through ongoing renegotiation, volume consolidation, and rate benchmarking to ensure Floward maintains competitive logistics pricing as the business scales.
• Ensure all supplier agreements are documented, tracked, and renewed proactively, with contract terms that protect Floward's operational and financial interests.

1. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day logistics execution across all KSA cities, ensuring last-mile dispatch, mid-mile intercity movements, and warehouse-to-hub transfers operate within defined service windows.
• Lead the design and governance of dispatch and routing processes, working with supervisors and technology teams to improve efficiency, reduce exceptions, and standardize operations across locations.
• Manage fleet availability and health through structured maintenance programs, ensuring vehicles are road-ready, compliant, and efficiently utilized across the network.
• Build and execute peak-season capacity plans well in advance, coordinating across suppliers, warehouse, and commercial teams to ensure Floward can absorb demand surges without service degradation.
• Oversee the vending replenishment supply chain, ensuring route efficiency, product availability, and cold-chain integrity are maintained consistently.
• Manage the employee transportation program, ensuring routes are cost-effective, reliable, and meet the needs of Floward's workforce across shifts and locations.

1. People & Organization

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a multi-city logistics team, establishing clear roles, performance expectations, and growth paths for supervisors and their direct teams.
• Assess current capability across the logistics organization and address gaps through targeted hiring, coaching, or structural changes.
• Foster a unified logistics culture across KSA cities, breaking down silos and building shared standards, accountability, and pride in operational excellence.
• Act as a visible and accessible leader on the ground — spending time across cities, understanding frontline realities, and removing barriers that prevent teams from performing at their best.
• Establish a regular cadence of team reviews, operational debriefs, and cross-city communication to keep the organization aligned and continuously improving.

1. Governance, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure all logistics operations comply with KSA regulatory requirements, including driver licensing, vehicle inspection standards (MVPI), fleet insurance, and applicable transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all cross-border shipments, coordinating with customs brokers and compliance teams as required.
• Embed HSE standards across the logistics function, including driver safety protocols, incident reporting processes, and vehicle condition standards.
• Ensure logistics data — movements, exceptions, costs, and performance — is accurately captured and flows into Floward's core systems (WMS, TMS, Finance, BI) in a timely and consistent manner.
• Proactively identify operational and commercial risks within the logistics network and maintain contingency plans to protect service continuity.

What We Are Looking For

• 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 5 years within KSA or the GCC.
• Proven experience managing multi-city logistics operations across Saudi Arabia.
• Strong background managing logistics suppliers, 3PLs, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience overseeing logistics budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, transportation management, and logistics technology platforms.
• Experience within e-commerce, retail, FMCG, perishables, or cold-chain environments is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
