Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) + Overtime Opportunities
Offshore Energy Services is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher & Project Coordinator for our Weatherford, OK facility. This is a critical, fast-paced role serving as the central communication hub for our operations. The successful candidate blends rigorous inventory tracking with real-time dispatching to ensure casing crews and equipment are deployed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Dispatching & Logistics
- Crew Deployment: Deploy casing crews and specialized equipment to active rig sites according to customer schedules and technical job specifications.
- Asset Tracking: Monitor the end-to-end transit of equipment from the Weatherford facility to project sites; track real-time equipment and vehicle movements.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve logistical bottlenecks, operational challenges, and customer service escalations in a fast-paced environment.
NetSuite System Ownership & Tracking
- Data Entry: Serve as the primary system user for NetSuite, entering sales orders, tracking yard inventory, and accurately logging field personnel hours.
- Project Progress Tracking: Update operations management and field salesmen on upcoming job statuses, active job progress, and scope changes.
- Documentation: Ensure all logistics paperwork, crew schedules, and client billing details are documented with high accuracy.
Crew, Sales & Client Communication
- Safety Briefings: Brief crews on specific safety requirements, driving directions, and technical project scopes before departure.
- Primary Point of Contact: Act as the central communication link connecting field personnel, sales teams, workshop staff, and client representatives.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate daily activities, scheduling shifts, and potential logistical hazards clearly with associates and management.
Qualifications & Job Requirements Education & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Experience: Previous dispatching, logistics, or project coordination experience in energy, casing/tubular handling, or oilfield services is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills & Mindset
- Software Proficiency: Strong digital literacy with high proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook. Prior experience using NetSuite is a significant advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid command of oilfield terminology, casing operations, and fast-paced dispatch procedures.
- Core Abilities: Exceptional multitasking abilities under pressure, data interpretation skills for daily decision-making, and professional telephone/email etiquette.
Logistics & Compliance
- Location: Must reside within a reliable, daily commuting distance of the Weatherford, OK facility.
- Transportation: Must have own reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting within a heavy industrial facility.
- Requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication.
- Position involves managing shifting, real-time priorities during 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
