Job Description

We, at India Service Center (ISC) of Atlas Copco are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Logistics Engineer - Warehouse, someone who enjoys independence, catering internal customers and brings value in the role every day (customers, suppliers, forwarders, 3PL).

In general, this position entails that you are responsible for determining and co-organizing the logistics process.

Specifically, This Means That You Are Responsible For

• Establishing the flows and procedures for the physical & administrative handling of goods based on data analysis
• Defining the work process in order to realize the most efficient flow of goods
• Monitor warehouse tasks and resolve discrepancies related to sales orders
• Identify gaps in Order to Cash workflow and propose optimized solutions to stakeholders
• Developing, following up and securing projects, new working methods and resources for existing and new processes and services, all to improve efficiency, delivery performance and quality
• Creating transparency by making dashboards and daily/weekly/monthly reports
• You will also work closely with other departments such as inbound, outbound, inventory and shipping
• You will therefore be involved in the first line in the further development of a state-of-the-art logistics process, the engine of excellent distribution and an absolute key factor in the pursuit of ultimate customer satisfaction.
  
  

To succeed, you will need

• Driven and interested in logistics, process quality and motivated to pursue excellence in these areas is the priority.
• Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Tools, data analysing tools and a solid interest in IT applications.
• Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
