Logistics Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will optimize our supply chain and manufacturing logistics by analyzing processes, designing efficient systems, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations across our manufacturing facility, supporting our mission to produce top-tier comfort products efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules to ensure the timely delivery of logistics initiatives and process improvements
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies or issues within the supply chain or manufacturing processes
  • Design and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, and industrial equipment layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD tools
  • Program and troubleshoot robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and vision inspection systems to enhance automation capabilities
  • Support plastics injection molding, welding, fabrication, tooling, and assembly line processes for optimized production flow
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on process engineering projects related to factory layout, industrial equipment upgrades, or tooling improvements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a focus on industrial engineering or process engineering
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly lines, robotics, fabrication, or tooling
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo for designing schematics and layouts
  • Skilled in robot programming, CNC programming (including GDT and CAM), and vision inspection systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment operation, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, and industrial automation tools
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
