Logistics Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation Management:
• Plan and schedule vehicle movements for inbound and outbound logistics.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials to customers, distributors, and plant locations.
• Optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption and transportation costs.
• Coordination & Supervision:
• Coordinate with drivers, transport agencies, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor vehicle movement and resolve transport-related issues promptly.
• Ensure drivers adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain trip sheets, vehicle logs, delivery challans, and gate pass records.
• Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, insurance, and vehicle fitness certificates.
• Verify transport bills and assist in timely payments to transporters.
• Cost & Performance Monitoring:
• Track and control transportation expenses.
• Prepare MIS reports on transport utilization, mileage, fuel, and delivery performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Safety & Maintenance:
• Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles.
• Conduct regular checks on vehicle condition and driver behavior.
• Implement safety norms and manage incident reporting if any.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of logistics operations and transport documentation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Route planning and cost optimization skills
• Problem-solving and multitasking ability

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in transport/logistics operations (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sector)
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
