Logistics Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to oversee the logistics operations within our organization. The Logistics Executive will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies that support the company’s objectives
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure all shipments are handled efficiently and delivered on time
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics
• Supervise, coach, and train logistics team members
• Stay informed of advancements in logistics technology and incorporate new technologies into procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and manufacturing to ensure adequate supply
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Logistics Executive or similar role
• Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
