Logistics Operations Executive
We are seeking a proactive, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Executive to manage appointment-based deliveries with third-party logistics (3PL) partners across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms. The role demands someone who can navigate challenging logistics environments, build strong relationships, and drive timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with 3PL partners for appointment-based deliveries to marketplace and quick commerce platforms.
- Schedule and follow up on delivery appointments by coordinating with relevant points of contact.
- Track and update all purchase orders (POs) in the delivery tracker with complete, real-time information.
- Communicate regularly with courier teams to resolve delivery or appointment-related issues.
- Follow up aggressively yet diplomatically to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with delivery SLAs and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Maintain detailed records of appointment communications, delays, escalations, and resolutions.
- Support internal teams with delivery status updates, confirmations, and exception handling.
- Develop positive working relationships with key logistics contacts to improve responsiveness and reliability.
- Identify recurring issues in the supply chain and suggest process improvements.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations, preferably in the quick commerce sector.
- Strong knowledge of working with major logistics partners in India.
- Hands-on experience with appointment-based delivery scheduling.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Fluent in both English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Calm and solution-oriented approach under pressure or in case of delivery failures.
- Strong follow-up discipline and bias for action—gets things done.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors or delays early.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for maintaining trackers and logs.
- Able to manage multiple external and internal stakeholders with tact and persistence.
