Job Description

Apple Trans is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations and ensure timely, safe, and efficient service. The Dispatcher will act as the main point of communication between drivers, customers, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, dispatch, and monitor drivers and vehicles
• Communicate trip details, route changes, and updates to drivers
• Track vehicle locations and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve scheduling issues
• Maintain accurate records of trips, logs, and driver activity
• Respond quickly to delays, emergencies, or service disruptions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous dispatch or transportation experience preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to use dispatch software
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of local routes is a plus
