As Logistics Export Specialist, you manage the daily operation of all plant logistic warehouse activities like export procedure, follow up from order management till delivery.
Key Activities
- Coordinate warehouse activities for raw materials and finished products.
- Finished products logistics from plant warehouse to external warehouse (both physical and system management).
- Warehouse movements accountability.
- Warehouse daily loadings monitoring and export shipments planning from plant warehouse and external warehouse.
- Daily acquisition and monitoring of export orders, both intercompany and direct customers in coordination with central team and external suppliers.
- Document preparation for export shipment together with forwarder.
- Best loading capacity definition for each shipment, monitoring and root causes inefficiency identification.
- Export shipments planning from plant warehouse and from external warehouse.
- Carriers’ performances monitoring.
- Guarantee carrier’s transport tariff applied based on Procurement awarding.
- Support for Customs clearance operations export finished products.
- Monthly costs closures support.
- Measure and compare Level of Service and Economics to target levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A solid 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in supply chain, logistics, or operations roles.
- Understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Good understanding of the principles of logistics, demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Experience with principles of logistics (transportation, warehousing and distribution).
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for coordinating stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, time management, adaptability, team collaboration, customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
