Position Summary

C5T is seeking a Logistics Infrastructure Analyst to support strategic mobility and global posture initiatives aligned with USTRANSCOM objectives. This position provides analytical expertise to support development of the En Route Infrastructure Master Plan (ERIMP) and related modeling efforts. The analyst will collect, aggregate, and assess logistics infrastructure data, including airfield and seaport characteristics, cargo movement history, and country-level economic and geopolitical factors. This role requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable products for senior leaders and stakeholders. Location: Scott Air Force Base, IL. Work will primarily be performed in government workspaces, with limited telework based on mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain access to and proficiency with historical cargo movement databases, including the Single Mobility System and Global Decision Support System.
  • Provide analytical support for nodal site assessments, including use of the Analysis of Mobility Platform Airfield Simulation Tool to evaluate airfield capability and develop recommendations to improve military support.
  • Conduct or support airfield and seaport site survey visits as required.
  • Build and maintain a repository of nodal reports and disseminate ERIMP products through NGA Google Earth servers and Intellipedia.
  • Support ERIMP product review processes by developing and maintaining comment resolution matrices and managing incorporation of approved changes.
  • Collect and analyze data related to force posture, footprint, and agreement gaps in support of the USTRANSCOM Posture Plan using Logical Decisions for Windows or other commercial software tools.
  • Develop point papers and issue papers leveraging nodal assessments and historical cargo data to inform infrastructure investment decisions at key USTRANSCOM nodes.
  • Prepare clear, concise written reports, briefings, and analytical products for senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, infrastructure analysis, or related fields.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional time management and task prioritization abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with government customers and cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting USTRANSCOM, AMC, or DoD mobility missions.
  • Familiarity with ERIMP or global posture planning processes.
  • Experience conducting airfield or seaport assessments.
  • Knowledge of commercial off-the-shelf analytical tools and decision support software.
