Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
- Plan, implement, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules.
- Assign drivers and coordinate vehicle dispatching based on branch requests and delivery priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all transportation-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and rapid resolution of issues.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintenance Oversight
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for equipment, vehicles, and facilities to minimize downtime.
- Supervise maintenance personnel and external contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, service schedules, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all maintenance activities.
- Evaluate infrastructure and machinery for performance and longevity; recommend timely upgrades or replacements to avoid operational disruptions.
- Source and engage cost-effective contractors who deliver reliable, efficient service without compromising quality or safety.
Team Leadership & Reporting
- Lead and train logistics and maintenance teams.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, maintenance activities, and budget utilization.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operations with strategic goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and maintenance management.
- Proven experience with fleet management, warehouse operations, and facility maintenance.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
